Got my picture taken with the Jefferson Bulldog!!!

My mommy, mawmaw Carol, and I went to another one of my brother, Justin's, football games. I love going to his football games not so much to watch football, but I love listening to the band. I am always bopping up and down when the band starts playing. I have to admit that I spend more time watching for the Jefferson Bulldogs mascot, Bruiser. I LOVE dogs and puppies, but Bruiser is my favorite because not only is he BIG dog, but he always comes over to give me a hug, both at the football games and pep rallies. Tonight my mom took me down to see Bruiser so she could take a picture of me and him together. I saw the picture tonight when mommy was loading it onto this page and I got so excited, signing dog and showing mommy again how much I like to dance when I see him. I hope you all enjoy this picture as much as I do and I guess I should mention that my brother's football team won their homecoming game that night 34 - 0!! GO BULLDOGS!!!

My School Picture

Finally got my school pictures back last week. My mom and Marky-Mark(step-dad) really liked this years pictures. We've had some problems with pictures the past few years as I really didn't want them to be taken, but I was all ready to have them taken this year. Hope you all like the picture too!!!

Going to my brother's football games.

My brother, Justin, is on the varsity football team for the Jefferson Bulldogs. He is #20, a wide receiver. Every Friday, my class gets to take a field trip to the high school for the pep rally. I LOVE going to the pep rallies and especially love when the team mascot, Bruiser the bulldog, comes over to sit by me and say hi. When we go to the games, I seem to amaze everyone because I always sit still for the WHOLE game. I have so much fun. I love when the band plays, and when the cheerleaders and majorettes are doing their thing. Especially Macy, she was my brother's girlfriend once, but now she's a really good friend of ours. She always comes over to give hugs and say hi. I am always on the lookout for Bruiser, so I can say hi to him. This last Friday, momma picked me up some chicken nuggets and fries to take with me to the game and I tried to share them with Bruiser. Heehee. When my brother's team scores a touchdown, the cheerleaders throw little footballs into the stands. I have caught 2 so far. Momma says it's amazing how I know once the team scores, I am standing right up waiting for them to throw the balls, hehehe. I figure I can never have to many. The Bulldogs have a bye week this week, so no game here, but we are going to go to Longview and watch their football game, so I can see my step-brother playing in the band. I can't wait to hear the band start beating on those drums. I love that sound!!!!

Back to School!!

Well the day finally came! August 25th, 2008. I have been waiting for this day to come, but something tells me Momma was waiting for it even more, lol. I got so excited about starting school again that on Sunday night, I could not get to sleep. Finally around 3 am, Momma let me come out in the living room and we both layed on air mattresses and I finally fell asleep. Mommy thought she would have a hard time waking me up, but I got up right away. I was so excited, that I ran back to the bedroom and was pulling out my own clothes. Mommy helped me some and she also helped me get dressed. I sat real still for her so she could do my hair. I didn't want any breakfast, I think my tummy was just to excited. Mommy took pictures of my brother and me. I didn't want to sit still to long for my picture, I wanted to be outside watching for my school bus, with my puppy of course. I have to take one of my puppies to school with me and since mommy wouldn't let me take the big one, I picked my next favorite. It finally came and my favorite bus driver, Miss Linda, was gonna be my driver again this year. Now her and mommy have me walk by myself to the bus in the morning and off the bus in the afternoon. I am really getting to be a big girl and love being able to do things for myself. I had so much fun on my first day of school. So much fun, that I didn't want to leave school when it was done, lol. I have been having so much fun all week and so glad to be back at school and back with my friends!!

Shelby's new puppy!

I got to go to Sam's with my mommy last Friday after her doctor appointment. They even stuck a needle in my mommy's arm!! I held out my arm so they could do it to me, but it wasn't my turn. I actually got very upset by this, but Mommy said I would get one another time, lol. I love going to Sam's with my mom. They have sooooo much stuff in there. I was riding around in the cart when my mom stopped it by this big bin full of really big stuffed animals. They had a BIG stuffed puppy in there and with my long arms, I was able to grab it right away. I loved this puppy so much and it was almost as big as me. Mom said I could get, by using money I still had saved from my birthday last month. So I got a new puppy. I'm not sure if mommy likes it so much as every time we go to pick up my brother from football practice or work, I have to take him with me (meaning mommy has to carry him for me, lol). Today before we took my brother to work, mommy let me play outside in the yard for a bit. I love to chase my mawmaw's dog, Nala, and have her chase me. Didn't do a lot of running today though, it was soooooo hot!! Momma said it was over 100 degress, ewww. She laughed when I wouldn't run around and said it had to be very hot to keep me from running, cause I am usually always on the run. We went and sat in the van while waiting for my brother to finish getting ready. When we dropped him off at work, we decided to go in and pick up some groceries. I helped momma push the cart and she got me some apple slices and pineapple, yummy!!! I even help her carry groceries in the house. She says I am really getting to be such a big girl!! I like to help once in awhile, but then there are those times when I just want to see what's in the bags, heehee.

They caught me sleeping!

Just so everyone knows, and I know most of you do know, lol, it is very rare to catch an "angel" sleeping. I have to give it up to my mommy though, she did it. She even managed to catch it on camera!! I have to admit though, I look darn cute when I'm asleep! I bet mommy wishes she could see me like this more often, heehee. When will she realize that I just don't need that much sleep, and she just needs to learn to like coffee and deal with it, hehe!!!
